The "olivettatura" be performed on furs with short, medium and long air. It consists iin making staggered cuts on fur skins.
This treatment offers two effect for enhancing the finished garment -apart from the obvious creative possibilities:
1. by widening and lenghthening the skin (thanks to the fact that "olivettatura" can be either vertical or horizontal)
2. the fur is less full and can be used for more tallored garments
